This ELIAS Online 10-hour Workshop focuses on the Pedagogical use of the NAO6 robot in a number of educational environments.
The workshop package provides educators with the knowledge and skills to design and develop content for humanoid robots, providing an opportunity to discover their potential, value, and impact as an educational tool.
Explore and investigate the dynamic and progressive relationship between humans and robots whilst learning about the current research on the topic and the vital factors to be considered in robot design regarding interaction, usability, and ethical implications.
Participants will additionally have the opportunity to use Choregraphe and the QiChat scripting language. Enabling them to design and implement dialogues for NAO6 in a hands on element.
Inspiring and educating teachers on the impact of robotics may be the next big step in revolutionising the way in which students learn new languages.
