Building on the enormous popularity of Raspberry Pi Pico, which was
launched in January 2021, we are delighted to announce the extension
of the Pico range to include the wireless-enabled Pico W model, with pre-soldered connectors.
At the heart of each product is the RP2040; a Raspberry Pi-designed chip
which features two ARM Cortex-M0+ cores clocked at 133MHz; 264KB SRAM; 30 GPIO pins; and a broad range of interfacing options. This is
paired with 2MB of on-board QSPI Flash memory for code and data
storage.
The Raspberry Pi Pico W also incorporates an Infineon CYW43439
wireless chip which supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN,
and Bluetooth 5.2.
