The Hammond IP54 Diecast Aluminium Enclosure Natural 1550J (275 x 175 x 67mm) is from a wide range of die-cast aluminium enclosures in industry standard sizes that will provide mechanical protection making them suitable for a use in a wide variety of applications. Big box, small price
Reviewed by: Nigel Pearson - Tuesday, December 6, 2016This box was the only big one I found at a sensible price ( Rapid chaper than others ). It is a beautiful 1960's style construction perfect for my use. Even just about works with Qmax hole cutters ( punch types ). M3.5 is same as UK mains socket long bolts for it's fixings (only 4 supplied with 6 holes ? ). I used these and M4 nuts to make cheap spacers to allow air flow. Cocktail sticks to locate the spacers. Strongly recomended
Unusually large box
