Watertight, Die Cast Aluminium Enclosures - Hammond 1550Z115F is a thick wall flanged die cast enclosure designed for durability and functionality in various electronic applications. Measuring 148 mm in length, 108 mm in width, and 75 mm in height, this enclosure offers ample space for housing electronic components while maintaining a robust structure
- Thick-wall diecast aluminium watertight electronic instrument enclosure.
- Rugged diecast aluminium alloy is tough yet easy to machine.
- Two piece tongue and groove construction for protection against access of dust and water.
- Strong spot-welded bottom flange allows for easy mounting.
- Unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
- Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder for a lasting finish, even after machining. Finish is applied outside and inside the enclosure.
- Lid is secured with either two, four, or six stainless steel Philips head machine screws, depending on enclosure size.
- Lid screws are outside the gasket protection area to eliminate the need for O-rings.
- Gasket is pre-formed, one-piece silicone rubber and installs easily into lid groove.
- Gasket has a temperature rating of -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to 302°F).
- cUL and UL listed under file #E71073.
- Independently tested to meet IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings.
- All sizes except 1550Z101F carry an impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.
