WEICON’s contact adhesives are formulated to bond surfaces with high initial tack and resistance to separation. These adhesives are ideal for applications requiring immediate adhesion without clamping, commonly used in rubber, plastic and composite bonding.

The WEICON Contact VA 8406, a cyanoacrylate adhesive, is particularly suited for fast fixation of rubber materials, including solid and cellular rubber, as well as EPDM elastomers and various plastics. When used in conjunction with WEICON CA-Primer, VA 8406 can also bond low-energy surfaces such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE and silicones. The WEICON Plastic-Bond is a solvent-free structural adhesive with excellent adhesion to plastics, aluminum, steel and other substrates. It supports both static and dynamic loads, with high impact and peel resistance. Its high viscosity allows for vertical surface application, making it suitable for use in automotive, electrical and exhibition construction. With a gap-filling capacity of up to 5 mm, Plastic-Bond is a reliable solution for high-strength plastic bonding in industrial environments.
