UniStrand 100m 16-2-18C Defence Standard Screened Signal Cable 18-Core

The UniStrand 16-2-18C Defence Standard Screened Signal Cable (18 core) is designed for high density wiring between components and within instruments and electronic equipment. This range of screened type 'C' have fine tinned copper wire strands, colour coded PVC insulation, cores twisted together all held together in a PVC outer jacket.

Originally developed for military use, defence standard cables are now widely used within industry. They are extensively used in aircraft, process control systems, computers, data processors, military vehicles and military equipment. Applications include data processing, information transfer, process control and security as well as many defence applications.

This durable cable has also been manufactured generally in accordance with the Defence Standard.
