Q. Hi. I was wondering whether these thermistors can be used within and education environment for measuring the temperature of water - ie are they OK to be put into a beaker of water to measure their resistance? Thanks.
A. Hi Wendy. Thank you for your question. This is the sort of item that schools regularly use for this experiment. The thermistor is often encased on a small piece of tube and then dipped in the beakers of boiling water to show the change vs. temperature on the resistance.
