Q. Can I use this to convert 12V AC to 12V (-FV) DC? Spec doesn't stipulate if there's a minimum operating voltage
A. Hi Phillip, thank you for your question. This will convert AC to DC, they will have a 1.1 volt drop maximum loss after conversion. Please see the data sheet.

I bought these to install coach lights into a model railway coach running on AC and needed to get to DC for LED lights. Do exactly what they need to and as a bonus, the legs are durable which means you can change your mind about where they need to face a few times without them breaking off.
