Q. how do you know if these are through hole or surface mounted by lookibg at this webpage? regards

A. Hi Paul. Thank you for your question. There are 2 indicators to which are surface mount for these products. They will be designated SMD or SMT in the title. The manufacturer code for surface mount are DTSM not DTS.
