The Ducati 4.16.10.08.14 8UF Leaded Plastic Case Capacitor is a self healing metallised polypropylene motor run capacitor encapsulated in a leaded plastic case and is fitted with a M8 x 10mm stud for mounting. Termination is via a 250mm double insulated 2-core lead which meets IP55. It meets the requirements of flammability test to UL 94V-0. Used for motor start and motor run applications.

Though not quite the same design as the original Ducati cap. (I had to cut off mounting stud to get the same length) it was delivered very quickly and repaired a pump motor. Hope it works for many years. The original failed after about 8 years with an obvious bulge in the case.

The product was delivered very quickly (as usual) and was to the standard expected. It was required to replace the run capacitor in the blower for a bouncy castle and due to its low profile fitted the aperture occupied by the original which was a rectangular block component.
