A smart and really clever instrument that will automatically analyse almost any semiconductor. Just connect it any way round and press test. It will automatically identify the type of part you have, identify the pinout and measure important parameters.
It supports most bipolar transistors, Darlingtons, MOSFETs, diodes, LEDs and more. For 2-leaded components, just use any pair of test clips, any way round. It will even identify special component features such as fly-wheel diodes and resistor shunts on transistors.
The Atlas DCA will measure current gain for transistors, gate threshold for MOSFETs and voltage drops for semiconductor junctions (such as transistor base-emitter junctions, diodes, LEDs etc).

This product is small, easy to use, fast and reliable - great! Thanks to the identify pin feature I can easily confirm that I'm soldering the Transistor the right way and what's more - it detects the broken semiconductor parts so it's a great time/nerves saver! It measures leakage current so the gain is much more accurate (for transistors) comparing to DMM. I'd definitely look forward for acquiring other PEAK instruments!
