The new Raspberry Pi 5 is the latest product in the popular Raspberry Pi range of single-board computers.

Equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex A76 processor that runs at 2.4GHz, the Pi 5 delivers a significant CPU performance boost of 2-3 times compared to its predecessor, the Pi 4. It also boasts an improved 800MHz VideoCore VII GPU that enhances its graphics performance, in addition to dual 4Kp60 display output over HDMI. With its re-designed Raspberry Pi Image Signal Processor, the device is capable of providing excellent camera support, making it the perfect choice for industrial applications and offering consumers a seamless desktop experience.

Raspberry Pi's latest single-board computer features a full-size design that employs silicon developed in-house. The RP1 "Southbridge" offers improved IO capabilities, faster transfer speeds, and better peripheral performance. The system comes with a new four-lane 1.5Gbps MIPI transceiver system that triples total bandwidth and is compatible with two cameras or displays. Moreover, the device supports high-speed SD card performance and a single-lane PCI Express 2.0 interface for peripherals that require a high bandwidth.
