The MC33269DG series are medium current voltage regulators that, due to their low dropout voltage, are ideal for use in low input voltage applications. The devices are specifically designed to provide a solution for precision voltage regulation, while keeping power losses to a minimum.

The regulators consist of a 1V dropout composite PNP-NPN pass transistor, with current limiting and thermal shutdown.
