<p>The <strong>Kontakt Chemie Soldabsorb Range</strong> is a no-clean solder absorbant with fine gauge copper braid with improved wick action.</p><p>Recommended applications include control assemblies, printed circuit boards, electronic components, and for freeing components, desoldering plated through holes which prevents short circuits by removing solder bridges.</p>
  • Oxygen free and oil free fine gauge copper wire
  • Contains a special flux for improved wick action
  • The residue is halide free and non-conductive which means it does not need to be cleaned off
  • Free from Rosin (Type R flux) for significant health benefits
  • Up to 4 times quicker than wicks based on Rosin, reducing the risk of heat damage
  • Pure copper braid for excellent thermal conductivity and faster desoldering at lower temperatures
  • Available in 0.9, 1.4, and 2.5mm widths
